Upgrade to reseller...

I currently have an individual site hosted by HFW. I would like to (in the near future) upgrade this to a reseller site. I have paid through mid-January on the Basic plan. If I order the upgrade to HFW-0, one year prepaid, say, on the 20th of May, exactly how much will it cost and when will my account be good through? Will my cost be less and just take effect for the remainder of my current billing cycle? Will the cost be less and take effect for one year hence? Will I effectively lose the pre-paid amount of time between now and January and have to pay the full amount for the HFW-0 account type which will last from one year hence?

If like other accounts you will simply pay the difference pro rata to end of term - initial account expire date will remain. Best you confirm via a support ticket.

I confirmed this morning that it will be the new price minus the credit in your account. They said we do pro-rate, so depending on what day you decide to switch, they will calculate to the day how much credit you have left in your account.


Example:

Reseller bill for a year is $100
Credit left over from basic is $30
New cost of reseller account is $100-30 = $70
